Cyclite SKI RACK – transport your skis and more on your bike

Shorten your hike with your skis, crank up to the snow line in spring, or use your bike as an environmentally friendly alternative to the car without traffic jams and high parking fees: there are plenty of occasions and reasons to transport your skis on a bike.
The Bavarian start-up CYCLITE specializes in light bikepacking equipment – and is now applying its design expertise for the winter season, too: With the updated SKI RACK / 02. The ski rack fixes skis of any width securely to almost any frame, putting an end to adventurous homemade constructions.

A variety of different ski types can be attached from narrow cross-country skis to wider splitboards.

Once split boards or skis are placed on the bracket, they are fixed with straps and three buckles. Due to the slightly diagonal position, full freedom of movement is possible when pedaling. Depending on the length and size of the boards, the position of the SKI RACK / 02 can be slightly adjusted to ensure an optimal fit on the bike.
The rack can be mounted on any bike with a top tube diameter between 33mm (classic steel frame) and 57mm (e.g., carbon frame of an e-bike). The rear attachment unit can be mounted on all standard saddles with round or oval rails as long as there is 15mm room on the rails behind the saddle clamp.
The plastic parts of the bike rack are 3D printed biodegradable PLA; Cyclite ensured me that longevity is not an issue as long as it is not exposed to high heat over a longer time, which should, of course, not occur on an item used in winter.
