CROCS SPD by Valcko Studios – just because!

Your ride choices should be limited only by the far end of what is possible. This is why you can find these Crocs here, a creation of Alex Valcko of Valcko Studios. They include a bottom plate with holes to mount SPD mountain bike-compatible cleats. There is no claim made that they save you 10 W per foot, but they will provide a comfortable fit and plenty of ventilation (;
If you wonder whether this is a silly project or even a poorly timed April’s Fools joke, it is not. Crocs are not the first product by Valcko, an accomplished bike polo athlete. The collection of modified shoes in his shop include Vans and Nike sneakers.
As for the Crocs, they are not available yet, but you can follow Valcko Studios’ Instagram to stay up-to-date on the release date or ask Lachlan Morton how they feel; he apparently has a pair!
The color shown in the main image is a special edition; based on the information thus far available, these Crocs will also come in black.
