Bergamont recalls bikes and fender sets
The BERGAMONT bicycle company informs about a recall involving the bike and fender models shown and listed below from model years 2020, 2021, and 2022. Other model years are not affected by this recall.
On these bikes and fenders BERGAMONT found that the bracket holding the front fender to the fork crown can break under sideways pressure or twisting whilst riding which may cause a loss of control and may cause an accident with serious injury.
The affected models are:

275550 Sweep 5 EQ
281037 Sweep 6 EQ
281038 Sweep 4 EQ
281075 Grandurance RD 7
281076 Grandurance RD 5
281077 Grandurance RD 3 petrol
281078 Grandurance RD 3 silver
277445 BGM Fenderset Allroad 20
291700 BGM Fenderset Grandurance Alloy W50 22
291699 BGM Fenderset Grandurance Carbon W50 22
Bergamont Grandurance and Sweep models that are not listed above are not affected by
this recall.
If you are in possession of any of the above mentioned models, please stop using the bicycle / fender set immediately and return the product to an authorized Bergamont dealer to have the front fender bracket replaced free of charge. After the replacement of the fender bracket the product is safe to be used once again.
