Selle Repente Prime 2.0 saddle with interchangeable cover
Italian Brand Sells Repente is quite young (founded in 2016), but some big names in Italian saddle manufacturing are involved, namely Assimo Farronato, who has 14 years in the saddle business as the Global Purchase Manager of Selle Royal and Fizik, and Paolo Mion, formerly head of OEM global sales with Prologo.
Their saddles are lightweight, beautifully crafted and manufactured in Italy. One standout of this model, the Prime 2.0, and other models, is the interchangeable cover. Even with this feature but-in, the weight of the Prime 2.0 is only 180g.
The rice is very reasonable at EUR 129, and covers at EUR 79.
The base is a Carbon/PA12 mix, for some weight savings there is also a pure Carbon base available.
Selle Repente has just released a Gravel saddle, with the same interchangeable feature, and they have TT and mountain bike saddles in the product line as well.
